Description
Nizoral 2% shampoo is indicated for the treatment and prophylaxis of infections in which the yeast Malassezia is involved, such as pityriasis versicolor, seborrhoeic dermatitis, and pityriasis capitis. Nizoral 2% cream is used for topical application in the treatment of dermatophyte infections of the skin such as tinea corporis, tinea cruris, tinea manus, and tinea pedis infections due to various fungal species. Nizoral tablets are used for the treatment of superficial and deep mycoses including infections of the skin, hair, and nails by dermatophytes and/or yeasts, yeast infection of the mouth and gastrointestinal tract, vaginal candidiasis, systemic mycotic infections, maintenance treatment, and prophylactic treatment. Nizoral bar is indicated for all kinds of body fungus.
