- For the treatment of oral and gastrointestinal candidiasis
- For eradication of fungal colonization in the mouth and gastrointestinal tract
- For the treatment of super infections due to gram-positive bacteria
- Indicated in dermatomycoses such as Tinea pedis (Athlete's foot), Tinea corporis (Tinea circinata), Tinea manuum, etc.
- Rapid alleviating effect on pruritus
- Low oral bioavailability (25-30%)
- Systemically absorbed after administration as the oral gel
- Plasma protein binding (88.2%) to serum albumin and red blood cells (10.6%)
- Metabolized mostly after absorption
- Less than 1% excreted unchanged in the urine
- Terminal plasma half-life: 20-25 hours
