Amobin is indicated in the treatment and prevention of various diseases caused by anaerobic bacteria and protozoa, such as septicaemia, bacteraemia, peritonitis, brain abscess, pelvic cellulitis, urogenital trichomoniasis, bacterial vaginosis, amoebiasis, giardiasis, acute ulcerative gingivitis, anaerobically infected leg ulcers, pressure sores, acute dental infections, and antibiotic-associated pseudomembranous colitis.
