Indications

Pharmacology
- Non-steroidal drug with anti-inflammatory and analgesic properties
- Potent inhibitor of the enzyme cyclooxygenase
- Rapid and complete absorption after oral administration
Dosage & Administration
- Recommended dose in adults: 200 mg Aceclofenac tablet daily for extended release tablet
- Recommended dose in adults: 100 mg twice daily for film coated tablet
Interaction
- No significant drug interactions observed
- Close monitoring required when used with lithium and digoxin
- Close monitoring required when used with diuretics
- Close monitoring required when used with anticoagulants
- May increase plasma concentration of lithium and digoxin
- May interact with the activity of diuretics
- May enhance the activity of anticoagulants
- May increase the plasma level of methotrexate
Contraindications
- Contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity
- Contraindicated in patients with asthma triggered by aspirin or NSAIDs
