Description
- Flamyd is indicated in the treatment of various diseases such as post-operative infections, septicaemia, bacteraemia, urogenital trichomoniasis, bacterial vaginosis, amoebiasis, giardiasis, acute ulcerative gingivitis, anaerobically infected leg ulcers, dental infections, antibiotic-associated pseudomembranous colitis, brain abscess, pelvic cellulitis, peritonitis, and more.

Dosage Instructions

Pharmacology
- Metronidazole is a member of the imidazole class of antibacterial drug and is classified therapeutically as an antiprotozoal agent. The 5-nitro group of Metronidazole is reduced by anaerobes metabolically, giving bactericidal action.
