Interaction
- Disulfiram may cause psychotic reactions
- Alcohol consumption may lead to a disulfiram-like reaction
- Potentiation of oral anticoagulant therapy (warfarin type)
- Increased plasma levels of lithium, serum cyclosporin, phenytoin or phenobarbital
- Reduced clearance of 5-fluorouracil
- Increased plasma levels of busulfan
Dosage administration
- Multiple dosage options for different conditions and age groups
- Recommended dose is intravaginally once or twice a day for 5 days
- Intravenous infusion requires specific dosage for adults and children over 12 years, and under 12 years
- Suppository dosage for adults and children
