      Interaction

      • Disulfiram may cause psychotic reactions
      • Alcohol consumption may lead to a disulfiram-like reaction
      • Potentiation of oral anticoagulant therapy (warfarin type)
      • Increased plasma levels of lithium, serum cyclosporin, phenytoin or phenobarbital
      • Reduced clearance of 5-fluorouracil
      • Increased plasma levels of busulfan

      Dosage administration

      • Multiple dosage options for different conditions and age groups
      • Recommended dose is intravaginally once or twice a day for 5 days
      • Intravenous infusion requires specific dosage for adults and children over 12 years, and under 12 years
      • Suppository dosage for adults and children
