Description
- Micogyl is indicated in the treatment of post-operative infections, septicaemia, trichomoniasis, bacterial vaginosis, amoebiasis, giardiasis, gingivitis, leg ulcers, dental infections, pseudomembranous colitis, and more.
- Metronidazole is a member of the imidazole class of antibacterial drug and is classified therapeutically as an antiprotozoal agent.
- The recommended dosage for various conditions such as trichomoniasis, intestinal amoebiasis, giardiasis, acute ulcerative gingivitis, bacterial vaginosis, leg ulcers, anaerobic infections, and surgical prophylaxis.
- Interactions with disulfiram, alcohol, oral anticoagulants, lithium, cyclosporin, phenytoin, phenobarbital, 5-fluorouracil, and busulfan.
