Description
- Starzyl is indicated in the treatment of various diseases including post-operative infections, septicaemia, trichomoniasis, bacterial vaginosis, all forms of amoebiasis, giardiasis, acute ulcerative gingivitis, anaerobic infections, surgical prophylaxis, and more.
Dosage and Administration
- The recommended dosage for adults and children over 10 years varies based on the condition being treated, ranging from 200 mg tid to 2 gm as a single dose, with different dosing regimens for children and different conditions like trichomoniasis, intestinal amoebiasis, giardiasis, acute ulcerative gingivitis, bacterial vaginosis, leg ulcers, anaerobic infections, surgical prophylaxis, and more. Vaginal gel and suppository dosages are also provided.
