Contraindications

Pregnancy lactation

Precautions warnings

  • Administration to patients with severe renal impairment
  • Administration to patients with severe hepatic impairment
  • Hazard of overdose in non-cirrhotic alcoholic liver disease
  • Advisory not to exceed the stated dose
  • Advisory not to take other Paracetamol-containing products concurrently
  • Use by the prescribed patient when necessary

Overdose effects

  • Possibility of liver damage in adults with high dosage
  • Symptoms of overdose in the first 24 hours
  • Abnormalities of glucose metabolism
  • Metabolic acidosis
  • Hepatic failure
  • Acute renal failure
  • Cardiac arrhythmias
  • Pancreatitis
  • Immediate treatment with activated charcoal
  • Measurement of plasma Paracetamol concentration
