Interaction
- Diminished metabolism with barbiturates

Overdose effects
- Possible liver damage with high doses
- Liver damage risk factors: long-term treatment with specific drugs, excess alcohol consumption, Glutathione depletion
- Symptoms of overdose
- Immediate treatment with activated charcoal and N-acetylcysteine essential
- Intravenous N-acetylcysteine for severe cases
- Management beyond 24 hours post-ingestion should involve medical consultation
