Dosage & Administration
- Recommended adult dosage of 1-2 tablets every 4 to 6 hours up to a maximum of 4 gm (8 tablets) daily
- Children (6-12 years) dosage of ½ to 1 tablet 3 to 4 times daily
- Extended release tablet dosage for adults & children over 12 years as two tablets every 6 to 8 hours
- Syrup/suspension dosage for different age groups
- Suppository dosage for various age groups

Interaction
- Diminished metabolism with barbiturates, tricyclic antidepressants, and alcohol
