Pharmacology

Combination of Paracetamol and Caffeine with analgesic, antipyretic, weak anti-inflammatory, and pain threshold increasing properties.

Dosage & Administration

  • Adult dose: 1-2 tablets every 4-6 hours
  • Maximum dose: 8 tablets daily
  • Child dose: Not recommended for children below 12 years

Interaction

  • May reduce serum levels with anticonvulsants
  • May enhance anticoagulant effect of warfarin
  • Accelerated absorption with metoclopramide
  • May increase serum levels with probenecid
  • May reduce absorption with colestyramine
  • May cause severe hypothermia with phenothiazine

Contraindications

Severe renal function impairment, hepatic disease, known hypersensitivity to paracetamol or caffeine
