Description
These tablets are indicated for conditions like headache, migraine, toothache, neuralgia, feverishness, period pain, sore throat, backache, reduce temperature, aches and pain of colds and flu.
DosageAndAdministration
Adult dose: 1-2 tablets every 4-6 hours. Maximum dose: 8 tablets daily. Child dose: Not recommended for children below 12 years.
Pharmacology
- Combination: Paracetamol and Caffeine
- Properties: Analgesic, antipyretic, weak anti-inflammatory, increases pain threshold, raises vessel tone in the brain
Interactions
- May reduce serum levels with anticonvulsants
- May enhance the anticoagulant effect of warfarin
- Accelerated absorption with metoclopramide
- May increase serum levels with probenecid
Contraindications
- Severe renal function impairment
- Hepatic disease
- Known hypersensitivity to paracetamol or caffeine
