Indications
- Management of moderate to moderately severe pain in adults
- Short-term (five days or less) management of acute pain
Pharmacology
- Paracetamol has analgesic and antipyretic properties with weak anti-inflammatory activity
- Tramadol is a centrally acting synthetic opioid analgesic
Dosage & Administration
- Recommended dose for the management of moderate to moderately severe pain is 1 or 2 tablets every 4 to 6 hours
- Recommended dose for short-term (five days or less) management of acute pain is 2 tablets every 4 to 6 hours
- Can be administered without regard to food
Contraindications
- Not to be administered to patients with hypersensitivity to tramadol, paracetamol, or opioids
- Contraindicated in situations where opioids are contraindicated

Use in Special Populations
- Safety and effectiveness not studied in the pediatric population
- Elderly patients require cautious dose selection
- Not studied in patients with impaired renal function
- Not studied in patients with impaired hepatic function
