- Inhibits peripheral actions of serotonin
- Inhibits peripheral actions of histamine

- Inhibits serotonin reuptake by blood platelets
Dosage & Administration
- Adult dosage: Usually 1.5 mg daily
- Maximum adult dosage: 4.5 mg daily
- Maximum single adult dose: 3 mg
- Children dosage: Up to 1.5 mg daily
- Children single dose: Up to 1 mg

- Enhances central effects of sedatives
