Pharmacology
This cream contains Methyl salicylate and Menthol for fast relief from pain and stiffness of minor arthritis and muscle aches. It penetrates deep to provide long-lasting relief. Methyl salicylate inhibits the synthesis of prostaglandins in inflamed tissues. Menthol increases drug penetration and provides an analgesic effect.
Dosage & Administration
Apply a thin layer to the affected area and massage until it disappears. Apply not more than 3 to 4 times daily for adults and children 2 years of age and older.
Interaction
Methyl Salicylate may increase Warfarin action by affecting Vitamin K metabolism or displacing warfarin from protein-binding sites.
Contraindications
Allergy to salicylate or any components, and application to broken skin or raw surfaces.
Side Effects
Redness or irritation, mild to moderate local irritation, erythema, rash, desquamation, pruritis, and relative local reaction at the application site.
Pregnancy & Lactation
Use only if clearly needed during pregnancy or while breast-feeding.
Precautions & Warnings
- For external use only
- Do not use with a heating pad
- Keep away from children to avoid accidental ingestion
- Do not swallow
- Do not bandage tightly
- Keep away from eyes, mucous membranes, broken or irritated skin
- If skin redness or excessive irritation develops, or pain lasts for more than 10 days, or with arthritis-like conditions in children under 12, consult a physician
Overdose Effects
Large amounts may cause absorption through the skin and lead to salicylism, with symptoms like tinnitus, hearing loss, nausea, vomiting, etc.

Storage Conditions
Store in a cool and dry place, away from light, at a temperature not exceeding 30°C. Keep out of reach of children
