Indications

Pharmacology
- Formulated with Methyl salicylate
- Formulated with Menthol
- Penetrates into skin for fast relief
- Provides relief from pain and stiffness
- Fast-acting
- Penetrates deep for long-lasting relief
- Inhibits synthesis of prostaglandins
- Increases drug penetration when applied on the skin
Dosage & Administration
- For adults and children 2 years and older
- Apply thin layer to affected area
- Gently massage until cream disappears
- Apply not more than 3 to 4 times daily
Interaction
- Systemically absorbed through the skin
- May increase Warfarin action
- Affects Vitamin K metabolism
- Displaces Warfarin from protein-binding sites
Contraindications
- Allergy to salicylate or sensitivity to components
- Application to broken skin or raw surfaces
Side Effects
- Redness or irritation may occur
- Mild to moderate local irritation
- Erythema
- Rash
- Desquamation

Precautions & Warnings
- For external use only
- Do not use with a heating pad
- Keep away from children to avoid accidental ingestion
- Do not swallow
- Do not bandage tightly
- Keep away from eyes, mucous membranes, broken or irritated skin
- If skin redness or excessive irritation develops, do not use and call a physician
Overdose Effects
- Large amount of topical application may cause absorption through the skin
- May cause salicylism
- Symptoms of salicylism include tinnitus, hearing loss, nausea, vomiting
