Pharmacology
- Contains Methyl salicylate and Menthol
- Penetrates skin for fast pain relief

- Methyl salicylate inhibits prostaglandins synthesis
- Menthol increases drug penetration
- Methyl salicylate undergoes rapid hydrolysis

Dosage & Administration
- For adults and children 2 years and older
- Apply a thin layer to affected area
- Gently massage until cream disappears
- Apply not more than 3 to 4 times daily
Interaction
- Methyl Salicylate may increase Warfarin action
Contraindications
- Allergy to salicylate or its components
- Do not apply to broken or raw skin surfaces

- Keep away from eyes and mucous membranes
- Do not use on broken or irritated skin
- Seek medical help if swallowed
- Avoid excessive skin redness or irritation
- Consult physician for prolonged pain or arthritis-like conditions in children under 12
Overdose Effects
- Large amount may cause absorption through skin
- May cause salicylism
- Symptoms include tinnitus, hearing loss, nausea, vomiting
