Indications

Pharmacology
- Fast relief from pain and stiffness
- Penetrates deep into skin
- Alleviates pain and inflammation by inhibiting prostaglandin synthesis
- Increases penetration of drugs when applied on the skin
Dosage & Administration
- Apply a thin layer to affected area
- Gently massage until cream disappears
- Not more than 3 to 4 times daily
Interaction
May increase Warfarin action
Contraindications
- Allergy to salicylate
- Application to broken skin or raw surfaces

- Redness or irritation
- Mild to moderate local irritation
- Erythema
- Rash
- Desquamation
- Pruritis
Pregnancy & Lactation
Use only if clearly needed during pregnancy or while breast-feeding
Precautions & Warnings
- For external use only
- Do not use with a heating pad
- Keep away from children to avoid accidental ingestion
- Do not swallow
- Do not bandage tightly
- Keep away from eyes, mucous membranes, broken or irritated skin
- Call a physician if pain lasts for more than 10 days
- Call a physician for arthritis-like conditions in children under 12
Overdose Effects
Large amount of topical application may cause absorption through the skin and may cause salicylism
