Indications

Pharmacology
- Specially formulated with Methyl salicylate and Menthol
- Fast-acting
- Penetrates into the skin for fast relief
- Inhibits synthesis of prostaglandins
- Increases penetration of drugs
- Dilates blood vessels
- Provides long-lasting relief
Dosage & Administration
- Adult and children 2 years of age and older
- Apply a thin layer to the affected area
- Gently massage until cream disappears
- Apply not more than 3 to 4 times daily
Interaction
- Systemically absorbed through the skin
- May increase Warfarin action
- Affects Vitamin K metabolism
- May displace Warfarin from protein-binding sites
Contraindications
- Allergy to salicylate or sensitivity to components
- Application to broken skin or raw surfaces
Side Effects
- Redness or irritation may occur
- Mild to moderate local irritation
- Erythema
- Rash
- Desquamation
- Pruritis
- Relative local reaction at application site
Pregnancy & Lactation
- Use only if clearly needed during pregnancy or while breast-feeding
Precautions & Warnings
- For external use only
- Do not use with a heating pad
- Keep away from children
- Do not swallow
- Do not bandage tightly
- Keep away from eyes, mucous membranes, broken or irritated skin
- If skin redness or excessive irritation develops, consult a physician
Overdose Effects
- Large application may cause salicylism
- Symptoms include tinnitus, hearing loss, nausea, vomiting
