Mode of Action

Dosage and Administration

  • Adults and Children 2 years of age and older: Apply generously to the painful area and gently massage until the cream disappears. Apply to affected area not more than 3 to 4 times daily.
  • Children below 2 years of age: Sufficient data is not available for use of this product in children below 2 years of age.
  • Adults and children over 12 years: Use by inserting the inhaler into each nostril, holding the other nostril closed and inhaling deeply. It can be used as frequently as needed.

Contraindications

  • Contraindicated in patients with bleeding disorders, allergy to Salicylate or sensitivity to any of the components
  • Application to broken skin or raw surfaces is not recommended
  • Hypersensitivity to the active substance or any of the excipients
  • Not recommended for children under 12 years of age

Side Effects

  • Temporary burning, stinging, dryness in the nose, sneezing

Pregnancy and Lactation

  • Should be used only if clearly needed during pregnancy or while breastfeeding

Precautions and Warnings

  • For external use only
  • Do not use with a heating pad
  • Keep away from children to avoid accidental poisoning
  • Do not use tight bandage
  • Do not swallow
  • Keep away from eyes, mucous membranes, broken or irritated skin
  • Long term and excess administration may cause skin irritation and redness
  • Therapy might be hazardous for patients with impaired kidney or liver function or for smaller children
