Mode of Action

  • Spasmolytic action on smooth muscle
  • Reduction of Ca2+ influx in smooth muscles
  • Increased threshold level for pain transmission
  • Cooling and soothing effect on cold receptors
  • Inhibition of cyclooxygenase enzyme
  • Decongestant properties

Dosage & Administration

  • Apply generously to painful area
  • Gently massage until the cream disappears
  • Apply not more than 3 to 4 times daily
  • Use nasal inhaler by inserting into each nostril

  • Systemic absorption of Methyl Salicylate
  • Potential interaction with Warfarin
