Pharmacology
Potent non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug with pronounced anti-rheumatic, anti-inflammatory, analgesic, and antipyretic properties. Also has uricosuric effect.

Interaction

Contraindications
- Contra-indicated in patients hypersensitive to any ingredient
- Not to be used under occlusive airtight dressings
- Contradicted in peptic ulcer patients and asthmatic patients sensitive to prostaglandin synthetase inhibitors
Side Effects
- Generally well tolerated
- Mild, rare, and transient adverse effects at start of treatment
- Common side effects include epigastric pain, eructation, nausea, diarrhea, dizziness, headache, peripheral edema, and skin reactions
- Local irritation and reddening of the skin from gel
