Dosage & Administration
- Diclofenac FC Tablet - Adult dose: 75-150 mg daily
- Diclofenac SR Tablet - Adult dose: 1 tablet daily
- Diclofenac Dispersible Tablet - Adult dose: 2-3 tablets daily
- Diclofenac TR Capsule - One capsule daily
- Diclofenac Suppository - Adult dose: 50 mg suppository 2-3 times daily
- Diclofenac injection - Adult dose: 1 ampoule daily
- Diclofenac Gel - 2-4 g applied 3-4 times daily for external use only
Interaction
- May interact with lithium and digoxin
- May interact with anticoagulants
- May interact with antidiabetic agents
- May interact with cyclosporin
- May interact with methotrexate
- May interact with quinolone antimicrobials
- May interact with other NSAIDs and steroids
Contraindications
- Hypersensitivity to any ingredient of the product
- Peptic ulcer
- Hypersensitivity to Diclofenac or other non-steroid anti-inflammatory agents
- Contra-indicated in asthmatic patients triggered by acetylsalicylic acid or other prostaglandin synthetase inhibitors
- Not to be used under occlusive airtight dressings
