Description

Refain TR is a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) used for the treatment of inflammatory and degenerative forms of rheumatism, chronic involutive, polyarthritis, ankylosing spondylarthritis, osteoarthritis, spondylarthroses, acute gout, peri-articular rheumatic disorders, sprain, bruises, dislocations, fractures, soft tissue injuries, primary dysmenorrhoea, episiotomy, adnexitis, endometritis, parametritis, salpingitis, mastitis, pre-operative medication for the prevention of pain, inflammation, swelling, post-operative and post-traumatic pain, inflammation, swelling, post-operative and post-traumatic pain, inflammation, swelling in urogenital tract, renal and biliary colic, and more. It has properties for analgesia, antipyresis, uricosuric effect, and is rapidly absorbed from the gastrointestinal tract when taken with or after a meal. The recommended dosage and administration vary based on the formulation and condition. It may have drug interactions with lithium, digoxin, anticoagulants, antidiabetic agents, cyclosporin, methotrexate, quinolone antimicrobials, other NSAIDs, and steroids. It is contraindicated in patients hypersensitive to any ingredient, peptic ulcer, and asthmatic patients. Refain TR has mild, rare, and transient adverse effects such as epigastric pain, eructation, nausea, diarrhea, dizziness, headache, peripheral edema, and skin reactions. It should be used with caution during pregnancy and lactation and should be stored in a cool, dry place protected from light below 30°C.
