- Symptomatic relief of Osteoarthritis (OA)
- Symptomatic relief of Rheumatoid arthritis (RA)

- Short-term treatment of moderate pain associated with dental surgery
- Potent, orally active cyclooxygenase-2 (COX-2) specific inhibitor
- Decreased potential for gastrointestinal (GI) toxicity
- Decreased potential effects on platelet aggregation
- Oral administration
- Selective inhibition of COX-2
- Usable for adults and adolescents over 16 years
- Usable for patients with insufficient relief from symptoms
- Usable for patients who require additional postoperative analgesia
- Usable for patients with renal creatinine clearance greater than 30 ml/min
- Usable for patients without hypersensitivity to the active substance or excipients
- Not recommended for patients with active peptic ulceration or active gastrointestinal bleeding
- Not recommended for patients who have experienced allergic-type reactions to acetylsalicylic acid or NSAIDs including COX-2 inhibitors
- Not recommended for pregnant or lactating women
- Not recommended for patients with severe hepatic dysfunction
- Not recommended for individuals under 16 years of age
- Not recommended for patients with inflammatory bowel disease
- Not recommended for patients with congestive heart failure (NYHA ll-IV)
- Not recommended for patients with uncontrolled hypertension
- Not recommended for patients with established ischaemic heart disease, peripheral arterial disease, and/or cerebrovascular disease
- Non-habit forming
- Should be used with caution in patients at risk of developing gastrointestinal complications with NSAIDs
- Monitoring of renal function should be considered in patients with significant risk factors for cardiovascular events
- Administration may cause a reduction in prostaglandin formation and impair renal function
- Caution is advised in patients with a history of cardiac failure, left ventricular dysfunction, or hypertension
- Monitoring liver function and discontinuation in case of hepatic insufficiency
- Discontinuation at the first appearance of skin rash, mucosal lesions, or any other sign of hypersensitivity
- May mask fever and other signs of inflammation
- Take without regards to meals
- Store at a temperature of below 30°C, protect from light & moisture, keep out of reach of children

- Selective COX-2 inhibitor with dose-dependent inhibition of COX-2 without inhibition of COX-1 at doses up to 150 mg daily
- Effect lasts for an average duration of 20-24 hours

- Unsafe to consume with alcohol
- May affect patient's alertness, must avoid driving

- Inform doctor in case of history of stomach ulcers, heart diseases, high blood pressure, and liver or kidney disease
- Regular blood tests may be required during long-term treatment to monitor liver function
- Not recommended if pregnant, planning to conceive, or breastfeeding
