Pharmacology
- Ibuprofen has anti-inflammatory, antipyretic, and analgesic activity.
Dosage Guidelines
- Adults: 400mg 3 times daily
- Children: varies by age and weight
- Juvenile Rheumatoid Arthritis: up to 30-40 mg/kg of body weight daily
- Topical Gel: 4 to 10cm on affected area, not for children under 12 years
Contraindications
- Hypersensitivity to Ibuprofen
