- Anti-inflammatory activity

Dosage & Administration
- Oral dosage form:
- Adults: 400 mg 3 times daily
- Children:
- Dosing based on body weight
- Specific dosing for different age groups
- Juvenile rheumatoid arthritis: 30-40 mg/kg of body weight daily
- Topical gel:
- Adults: 4 to 10cm of gel on affected area, not more than four times a day
- Children: Not recommended for use in children under 12 years
Contraindications
- Hypersensitivity to Ibuprofen
- Severe or active peptic ulceration

- Caution in history of gastrointestinal hemorrhage or ulcer

- Increased hypersensitivity in systemic lupus erythematosus patients
- Caution in patients with asthma
