Dosage
- Adults: 400 mg 3 times daily
- Children:
- 3-6 months: ½ tsp 3 times daily
- 6 months-1 year: ½ tsp 3-4 times daily
- 1-4 years: 1 tsp 3 times daily
- 4-7 years: 1½ tsp 3 times daily
- 7-10 years: 2 tsp 3 times daily
- 10-12 years: 3 tsp 3 times daily
Mode of Action
Inhibits cyclooxygenase and lipo-oxygenase products
Contraindications
- Hypersensitivity to Ibuprofen
- Severe or active peptic ulceration
