Indications

Pharmacology
- High level of anti-inflammatory, anti-pyretic, and analgesic activity
- Potent inhibitor of the enzyme cyclooxygenase
- Reduces pain, stiffness, swelling, and improves joint movement
Dosage & Administration
- Adult dosage: 400 mg 3 times daily, max dose of 2400 mg daily
- Children dosage based on age and body weight
- Topical gel application: 4 to 10cm on affected area, massage until absorbed, not to be repeated more than four times a day
Contraindications
- Hypersensitivity to Ibuprofen
- Severe or active peptic ulceration

Precautions & Warnings
- Use with caution in history of gastrointestinal hemorrhage or ulcer
- Ocular monitoring for long-term therapy
- Higher risk for hypersensitivity in patients with lupus erythematosus
- Use with caution in patients with asthma or history of hypersensitivity to other NSAIDs
