Indications

Dosage & Administration
- 75 mg sustained-release capsule
- 25 mg capsule
- Initial dose is 75 mg sustained-release capsule once daily
- Twice daily dosage for severe cases
- Control acute attacks of gout with a dose of 75 mg sustained-release capsule twice daily
- 1-2 sustained-release capsules daily for acute non-articular rheumatism
- 50-200 mg daily in divided doses for rheumatic diseases
- 150-200 mg daily in divided doses for acute gout
- Up to 75 mg daily for dysmenorrhea
Interaction
- May interact with anticoagulants
- May interact with Lithium

- May interact with antihypertensive drugs

Contraindications
- Contraindicated in ulcer
- Contraindicated in gastritis
- Contraindicated in active ulcerative colitis
- Contraindicated in patients with history of these disorders
- Prefer use of suppositories in these cases
- Contraindicated in previously hypersensitive patients
