Dosage & Administration
- Naproxen Enteric Coated Tablet for adults: 500-1000 mg per day in two divided doses
- Naproxen Enteric Coated Tablet for acute gout: initial dose of 750 mg, then 250 mg every 8 hours
- Naproxen Suspension for juvenile rheumatoid arthritis: 10 mg/kg/day in two divided doses

Contraindications
- hypersensitivity to Naproxen
- asthma or allergic-type reactions after taking aspirin or other NSAIDs
- perioperative pain in the setting of coronary artery bypass graft (CABG) surgery
Side Effects
- Gastrointestinal: heartburn, abdominal pain, nausea, diarrhea
- Central Nervous System: headache, vertigo, drowsiness
- Dermatological: itching, purpura
- Cardiovascular: edema, palpitation
Pregnancy & Lactation

- premature closure of the ductus arteriosus
- excretion in breast milk
