Description

Naproxen is indicated for relief of signs and symptoms of rheumatoid arthritis, osteoarthritis, ankylosing spondylitis, juvenile arthritis, tendonitis, bursitis, acute gout, and primary dysmenorrhea. It acts by blocking COX-1 and COX-2 enzymes, decreasing prostaglandin synthesis, and offering antipyretic, analgesic, and anti-inflammatory properties.

    • 500-1000 mg per day for adults with rheumatoid arthritis/osteoarthritis/ankylosing spondylitis

    • 10 mg/kg/day for juvenile rheumatoid arthritis in children over 2 years
