Interaction
- Diminishes antihypertensive effect of ACE inhibitors
- Delays the absorption of Naspro by antacids & Sucralfate
- Increases adverse effects of Aspirin
- Reduces the natriuretic effect of Diuretics
- Enhances the toxicity of Methotrexate
- Increases the risk of GI bleeding with Warfarin and Selective Serotonin Reuptake Inhibitors (SSRI)
Contraindications
- Known hypersensitivity to Naproxen
- History of asthma, urticaria, or allergic-type reactions to aspirin or other NSAIDs
- Treatment of perioperative pain in the setting of coronary artery bypass graft (CABG) surgery
