Indications

Dosage & Administration
- Should be taken with water
- Preferably after meals
- Depending on the condition, dosage varies

Interaction
- Diminishes the antihypertensive effect of ACE inhibitors
- Delays the absorption of Nuprafen when taken with antacids & Sucralfate
- Increases adverse effects when taken with aspirin
- Reduces the natriuretic effect of diuretics
- Enhances the toxicity of Methotrexate
- Increases the risk of GI bleeding when taken with Warfarin
- Increases the risk of GI bleeding when taken with Selective Serotonin Reuptake Inhibitors (SSRI)
Contraindications
- Known hypersensitivity to Naproxen
- Asthma, urticaria, or allergic-type reactions after taking aspirin or other NSAIDs
- Treatment of perioperative pain in the setting of coronary artery bypass graft (CABG) surgery

Pregnancy & Lactation

Precautions & Warnings
- Renal effects
- Caution in patients with significantly impaired renal function
- Monitoring of serum creatinine and/or creatinine clearance
- Caution in patients with creatinine clearance of less than 20ml/min
- Hepatic effects
- Reports of moderate to severe jaundice
