Interaction
- Diminishes antihypertensive effect of ACE inhibitors
- Delays the absorption of the medication
- Increases adverse effects when taken with aspirin
- Reduces the natriuretic effect of diuretics
- Enhances the toxicity of Methotrexate
- Increases the risk of GI bleeding when taken with Warfarin or Selective Serotonin Reuptake Inhibitors (SSRI)
Contraindications
- Hypersensitivity to Naproxen
- History of asthma, urticaria, or allergic-type reactions after taking aspirin or other NSAIDs
- Treatment of perioperative pain in the setting of coronary artery bypass graft (CABG) surgery

Precautions & Warnings
- Renal effects
- Abnormal renal pathology in animal studies
- Reports of acute interstitial nephritis, hematuria, proteinuria, and occasionally nephrotic syndrome
- Elimination primarily by the kidneys
- Caution in patients with impaired renal function
- Monitoring of serum creatinine and/or creatinine clearance
- Caution in patients with creatinine clearance less than 20ml/min
- Reports of moderate to severe jaundice attributed to the medication
