Indications

Pharmacology

  • Immediate release Esomeprazole Magnesium layer
  • Enteric-coated Naproxen core
  • Prostaglandin synthesis inhibition
  • Proton pump inhibitor
  • Specific inhibition of the H+/k+ -ATPase
  • Reduction of gastric acidity

Dosage

  • Lowest effective dose
  • Twice daily dosage for different conditions
  • Different dosage for adult and adolescent patients

Administration

  • Tablet to be taken at least 30 minutes before meals
  • Not to be split, chewed, crushed or dissolved

Interaction

  • Reduced antihypertensive effect of certain medications
