Description

  • Indicated for spasticity resulting from multiple sclerosis
  • Used for flexor spasms, concomitant pain, clonus, and muscular rigidity
  • Provides relief for skeletal muscle spasm resulting from rheumatic disorders
  • Suitable for spinal cord injuries and other spinal cord diseases
  • Effective for cerebrovascular accidents, neoplastic, or degenerative brain disease
  • Inhibits monosynaptic and polysynaptic reflexes at the spinal level
  • Stimulates GABAB receptors, inhibiting the release of glutamate and aspartate
  • Produces CNS depression and exerts an antinociceptive effect
  • Adult dosage: 5 mg 3 times daily, max. 100 mg daily
