Description
- Xyril Hydrochloride is indicated for symptomatic relief of anxiety and tension associated with psychoneurosis and as an adjunct in organic disease states
- Management of pruritus due to allergic conditions such as chronic urticaria and atopic and contact dermatoses, and histamine-mediated pruritus

- Hypotension may be controlled with intravenous fluids
- Epinephrine should not be used as it counteracts its pressor action
- No specific antidote available
- Hemodialysis may be indicated in certain cases of concomitant ingestion of other agents such as barbiturates
