Description
- Axofen 120 mg Tablet is an antihistamine used for the relief of symptoms associated with seasonal and perennial allergic rhinitis, as well as chronic idiopathic urticaria in adults and children 12 years of age and older. It helps relieve symptoms such as sneezing, rhinorrhea, lacrimation, itchy and red eyes, itchy nose/palate/throat, and pruritus.

Contraindications
- Known hypersensitivity to Fexofenadine Hydrochloride or any of its ingredients
Interaction
- Coadministration with erythromycin or ketoconazole increases the level of fexofenadine in plasma
- No interaction with omeprazole observed
- Reduction in bioavailability when coadministered with antacids containing aluminium and magnesium hydroxide
Storage conditions
- Keep in a dry place away from light and heat
- Keep out of the reach of children
Pregnancy lactation
- Not recommended during pregnancy unless clearly necessary
- Not recommended for mothers breastfeeding their babies
Precautions warnings
- Administer with care in older people and renally or hepatically impaired patients
- Patients with a history of or ongoing cardiovascular disease should be warned of associated adverse reactions
Special populations
- Renal and hepatic impaired patient: Consider dose adjustment based on renal function
- Elderly patient: Altered pharmacokinetics in individuals over 65 years of age
