Description

Fexten is indicated for the relief of symptoms associated with seasonal and perennial allergic rhinitis, chronic idiopathic urticaria, and provides pharmacological action as an inverse agonist of the H1 histamine receptor. It comes in tablet and suspension forms. It has specific dosage instructions for adults, children, and those with impaired renal function. Fexten has no known interactions with omeprazole, but coadministration with erythromycin or ketoconazole can increase plasma levels. It's contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to Fexofenadine Hydrochloride or its ingredients. The common side effects include headache, drowsiness, and nausea.
