Description

Lipobi is a medication used as an adjunct to diet to reduce elevated total cholesterol, LDL cholesterol, apolipoprotein B (Apo-B), and triglycerides levels in various conditions such as heterozygous and homozygous familial hypercholesterolaemia, mixed dyslipidemia, hypertriglyceridaemia, dysbetalipoproteinaemia, and to reduce cardiac ischaemic events in patients with coronary artery disease.

    • Higher plasma concentrations in elderly, no influence of renal disease on plasma concentrations, contraindicated in hepatic insufficiency
  • Overdose Effects:
    • Specific treatment not available, monitor liver function tests and serum CK levels
