Indications
- Relief of symptoms associated with allergic rhinitis in adults and children

Pharmacology
- H1 histamine receptor mediation
- Exposure to allergen and degranulation of mast cells and basophils
- Histamine binding and activation of H1 receptors
- Fexofenadine as an inverse agonist of H1 receptor
- Potent and selective affinity for H1 receptors
- No significant CNS effects
Dosage & Administration
- Different dosages for allergic rhinitis and chronic idiopathic urticaria in adults and children of varying age groups
- Adjustment of dosage in case of impaired renal function
Interaction
- Potential interaction with erythromycin, ketoconazole, and antacids containing aluminium and magnesium hydroxide
- No interaction with omeprazole
Contraindications
- Hypersensitivity to Fexofenadine Hydrochloride or its ingredients
