Indications

Pharmacology
- H1 histamine receptor mediation
- Degranulation of mast cells and basophils
- Release of histamine and inflammatory mediators

- No evidence of antidopaminergic, antiserotonergic, anticholinergic, sedative, or adrenergic blocking activity
- Does not cross the blood-brain barrier
Dosage & Administration
- Adult dosage: 60mg twice daily or 120mg once daily or 180mg once daily
- Children dosage: varies with age and renal function
- Tablet and suspension forms
Interactions
- Coadministration with erythromycin or ketoconazole
- No interaction with omeprazole
- Reduction in bioavailability when coadministered with antacids
- Recommendation to leave 2 hours between administration with antacids

- Known hypersensitivity to Fexofenadine Hydrochloride or any ingredients
