Indications

Dosage & Administration
- Adults and children over 12 years: One tablet once daily
- Children 2-12 years: Dosage based on body weight
- Not recommended for below 2 years of age
Interaction
- No reports of potentially hazardous interactions with other drugs
- No potentiating effects when administered concurrently with alcohol
- Concomitant therapy with certain drugs may elevate plasma concentrations
- No adverse effects reported with certain drug interactions
Contraindications
- Contraindicated in patients with hypersensitivity or idiosyncrasy to its components

- Comparable effects on driving performance and cognitive functioning to placebo
Pregnancy & Lactation
- Not advisable during pregnancy
- Excreted in breast milk in small amount
- Nursing mothers advised not to take the drug

- Caution in patients with liver impairment or renal insufficiency
Overdose Effects
- Reported effects of overdose in adults and children
- Symptomatic and supportive measures should be instituted promptly
- Use of oral activated charcoal in early presentations of large overdoses
