Indications
- Relieves pain and itching from insect bites
- Relieves pain and itching from minor burns
- Relieves pain and itching from sunburn
- Relieves pain and itching from skin irritations
- Relieves pain and itching from minor cuts
- Relieves pain and itching from scrapes
- Relieves pain and itching from poison ivy rashes
- Relieves pain and itching from poison oak rashes
- Relieves pain and itching from poison sumac rashes
- Dries oozing and weeping of poison ivy, poison oak, and poison sumac
Pharmacology
- Contains diphenhydramine as an antihistamine
- Works as a topical anti-allergic
- Functions as an analgesic by blocking histamine release
- Contains zinc as a skin protectant
Dosage & Administration
- Recommended for adults and children above 2 years
- Apply to affected area 3 to 4 times daily
- Skin should be clean, cool, and dry before application
- Avoid hot shower or bath before applying
- Apply lightly until cream disappears
- Include all skin surfaces during application
- For babies under 2 years, consult a physician before use
Contraindications
- Not to be used by individuals with known allergy to its components
- Contraindicated in individuals allergic to pyrethroids or pyrethrins
Side Effects
- Contact dermatitis with mild erythematous vesicular lesions and papules reported occasionally
Pregnancy & Lactation
- Use in pregnancy should only follow medical advice
- Teratogenic effects not anticipated
- Caution advised for nursing mothers
- Low levels in breast milk after topical application

- Avoid use on large areas of the body with other diphenhydramine products
