Indications

Description
- Sterile, non-pyrogenic, aqueous solution
- Contains G-G-Lidocaine
- Amide type local anaesthetic

Pharmacology
- Inhibits sodium influx through sodium specific ion channels
- Acts on voltage-gated sodium channels

Interactions
- Cimetidine can impair metabolism of lidocaine
- Significant increases in plasma lidocaine concentrations with beta blockers
