Indications
- Topical treatment of impetigo
- Treatment of folliculitis
- Treatment of furunculosis
Pharmacology
- Mupirocin as naturally occurring antibiotic
- Active against Staphylococcus aureus and Streptococcus pyogenes
- Inhibition of bacterial protein synthesis
Dosage & Administration
- Apply to affected area 3 times daily for up to 10 days
- Safe and effective for age range of 2 months to 16 years

- Contraindicated in individuals with hypersensitivity reactions to Mupirocin or its components

- Discontinue use in case of severe irritation
- Risk of dilution if mixed with other preparations
