Indications

Dosage and Administration
- Cleansing of burn wounds
- Application of Silver Sulfadiazine over burn wounds

- Reapplication after patient activity or hydrotherapy
- Use of dressings if necessary
- Continued treatment until satisfactory healing
Interaction
- Inactivation of enzymatic debriding agents
- Potentiation of oral hypoglycemic agents and phenytoin
- Increased leukopenia incidence with cimetidine co-administration
Contraindications
- Hypersensitivity to the drug or its ingredients
- Use on pregnant women approaching or at term
- Use on premature infants or newborn infants in the first 2 months of life
