Indications
- Treatment of tinea pedis
- Treatment of tinea cruris
- Treatment of tinea corporis
- Treatment of cutaneous candidiasis
- Treatment of tinea versicolor
Pharmacology
- Interferes with fungal oxidative enzymes
- Causes lethal accumulation of H2O2
- Reduces formation of ergosterol
Dosage & Administration
- Econazole vaginal tablet for intravaginal use
- Econazole cream in 10 gm and 30 gm
- Recommended application frequency for different conditions
Interaction
- Concomitant administration with warfarin
- Enhancement of anticoagulation effect
- Monitoring of International Normalized Ratio (INR) and/or prothrombin time
Contraindications
- Hypersensitivity to any of its ingredients

Pregnancy & Lactation
